I absolutely loved and enjoyed Definitely, Maybe in Love. I did not realize when I picked up the book and read it that it's a retelling of Pride and Prejudice. Shamefully I admit that I have never read the book, but it's on my kindle now, so like with most of the books on there I hope I will eventually get to it.

Spring is a girl in college who is taking Environmental Studies. When her professor suggests for her to take a different angle at her thesis, she has to find someone who can help her. She didn't think that someone would be Henry Knightly, especially since she opposed the new building that was build in his name.

Henry Knightly and Spring don't always see eye to eye and their opposing faction means that they argue a lot, and Henry loves pushing her buttons. Unfortunately for Spring she had never met a guy who challenged her and pushed her buttons in more then one way like Henry does, which leads to attraction that smolders between them.

Did I mention I loved this story? I have to admit, it started out a bit slow but once I got into it I had the hardest time putting it down. I stayed up reading this book until I fell asleep and it was the first thing I did this morning – finished it. Henry was my favorite. Sure he fails at communicating but he never gave up on Spring despite all the obstacles that got thrown their way. There had been time where I wanted to bop them both on the head. Spring especially when she jumped to conclusions and wouldn't give Henry an edge word wise. I have to admit, that didn't draw away from the story for me. I found it realistic thinking back on my awesome communication skills when my husband and I first met, and it was just as equally a failure.

I could sit here and talk about Henry all day. I love that through the story Spring realized that there is more to him then just money. I loved that he gave her so many chances even when I felt she didn't deserve them at times. I love that he didn't abandon her when she needed his help despite the recent rift between them, and managed to disclose his story.

The romance was slow but progressive and I liked it, even thought at times I felt like they could have gotten together sooner. Sure there was some heartbreak in it that on occasion threaten a tear to spill, but it was the perfect amount. I loved the fact that this wasn't angsty, that it didn't want to rip my little fragile heart out and stomp all over it. And I also enjoy the fact that it was a clean New Adult read. Quiet a welcoming sight.

What did get me mad was Julia, especially the really stupid mistake she made at the end of the book. I won't got into it, but after discovering something horrifying that she was aware of – she went and done it anyway. I don't care. Being 'drunk' is not an excuse. I loved her up until that moment because through the rest of the story she had a kind heart. I forgave her thought, because she was obviously going through a rough time – but even then still...no excuse for her actions..

Wow this was probably the longest review I have written in a while. I will wrap it up now. I enjoyed this book, I did enjoy the characters that continued to grow on me and the storyline. A wonderful read!
