I debated a very long time today rather or not I wanted to post another review today, especially for this book. But I have read this book during the time I couldn't get on the computer and decided it was finally time to voice my feelings.

The Infinite Moment of Us is about two characters Wren and Charlie who have had crushes on each other for a while, but it wasn't after high school graduation did the two finally started to get together. Of course Wren has other plans then going to college, and decides she want's to travel to Guatemala instead to help.

I really wanted to love this book. The writing was smooth and flowed easily, but because it felt like the entire book was character-driven and the character's just didn't work for me, it was a complete miss.

I couldn't stand Wren, I had the hardest time liking her much less connecting with her. She was immature for her age which led to moment in the book that really left me wanting to scream. I did not like the way she treated Charlie or the way she responded to him. The lack of communication between the two was hair gripping enough without adding the horrible way they communicated on top of that, when they actually did.

Charlie too. Thought I felt for him, I did, with everything he went through with his mother. His story really was sad. He wasn't any better then Wren. He too did not seem his age, once again two character's acting really immature. His a foster kid who has seen his share of rejection and get's mixed up with a crazy ex-girlfriend that keeps trying to spoil his relationship with Wren. The worse part is the fact that he just keeps finding his way back to her and kept right on lying to Wren. Both of these character's decisions in this book had my head spinning. Somehow thought I managed to finish it.

There was YA sex in this book. I don't remember the last time I read a YA book with somewhat explicit. I am glad it's in there I guess, because it's not like we can keep pretending to be blind and say YA don't do it. So it was a bonus. I just not sure how I felt about actually reading it as someone a bit older thought.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse of course, the few final scenes happened and … I think I'm speechless. It was over the top dramatic and complete put me off this book. Not just the whole thing with Starrla that had me cringing the entire time by how unrealistic it felt, but also more odd decisions these two made in the end.
