November Round Up!

Ah I never did one of these but I wanted to do one this one, it sounded like fun I suppose. Well November is over and we are now into December. I hope everyone enjoyed their Holidays. Mine were emotional. The last couple of weeks had been difficult. Both my family older dog and my grandpa are not doing so well, so the next couple of weeks will just be as stressful for me. Thus the reason I was unable to attend to the blog much. Being between states with limited internet access just doesn't work very well.

This November I participated in

My goal was to read 5 to 10 books but I managed to read 13! Yes a lot of them had been novellas, but between personal problems, looking for works, etc it has cut down on my time spent reading.

November Activity...
  • I have read 25 books during the month of November
  • I have reviewed 17 of those book in November so far - the rest will be written in December.
  • I have to finish 18 more books in order to finish my 2013 Goodreads Reading Challenge of 150!

November was suppose to be the month of my first blogging anniversary but I did not get to celebrate it due to personal reasons so I completely missed it. I am on the other hand very grateful for a wonderful year and all the people that I have met!

That's November in a glimpse. With December settling in I am doing a small event on my site. Through the entire month of December I will be doing reviews of Christmas/Holiday books at least a couple of times a week. I have called this Winter Reading Spectacular and I will probably do it from December up through January or however long it will take me to finish my Holiday books. I have a bunch from Netgalley that I cannot wait to finish and catch up on the long unfinished netgalley list. If I have a chance I'll try and throw in a couple of giveaways as well. I will be doing none Christmas/Holiday books as well ;)

Let me know if you need anything!!

Also, 25 books is fantastic for one month of reading! Congrats on getting to so many. I think it will be fun to read all those holiday themed books this month and I hope you are able to get to most of them if not all of them. :)

  4. I love round-ups. Maybe I should start doing those in the new year!

Sorry you had a rough holiday. I spent a lot of time at the hospital with my dad, so I feel your pain.
