Yay I was so excited about the second book already being out when I finished with book one and to get it on the tour, was even better! I love Dragon's in general and reading this series I have learned that I also enjoy dragon shifters. I am going to have to find more books to fix my craving for them after this one!

Chace and Skyler are back. Book two takes place shortly after Chace got what he wished for in exchange of betraying Skyler. The big bad blue dragon comes with a surprise that rocks Skylers world. The people she trusted most betrayed her and now she wants answers. Answers about her mother, about her friends and what happened to the rest of the shifters.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the character growth in it even thought I believe that Skyler is a bit too trusting. I did really like seeing her grow in other parts, especially when she started to come into her own powers. What she could do with them shocked me a little. Did not see it coming.

Chace is still swoon worthy, even if he did screw up badly in book one. Now he has  no powers, and he isn't sure how to get them back. I love how Lizzy worked that into the book and that he did not get his powers back quickly by the end of the book. But Chace has learned his lesson, but even with the crazy chemistry that's back between them, Skyler has a hard time forgiving him for what he had done.

Now there's a war raging and Skyler with her new status must figure out which side to choose, as soon as people stop lying to her.

This book starts on a great note and the action explodes at the end of the book, keeping me hooked throughout. Not as many sizzling scenes as there was in book one, which left more to the storyline. I loved that the relationship between Skyler and Chace has been so realistic. He hurt her, lied to her and she has a hard time forgiving him. Which I can see happening in real life.

I am eagerly looking forward to the last book in the series, especially with the way book two has ended!
