Summary from Goodreads

Return to Conard County…where reunited spouses face a dangerous obsession

The last man that Nurse Brianna Cole expects to bring home is the one she remembers all too well—her ex-husband Luke Masters. But when he needs to recuperate from serious injury, her Wyoming cabin becomes his refuge. Though concussed and hazy, Luke is convinced someone pushed him off the snowy mountain he was evaluating for a ski resort. And though he can't remember why, he knows Bri is next.

Snowed in with her ex, Bri is blinded by old feelings, an attraction that never died. But the closer she gets to Luke, the closer she gets to murder. Because someone is watching her…stalking her…and if he can't have her, no one can!

The last thing Brianna Cole expected was to see her ex-husband Luke Master's to be standing on the other side of the doorway. He came to set things straight and hopefully fix the way Brianna sees him. It doesn't sit well with Luke that the woman that he loved still believes that he could have cheated on her. When Luke ends up in an accident with a few broken bones and concussion, he was sure that someone had pushed him, but he cannot remember what happened nor did he see the person. Brianna takes it upon herself to take care of Luke while he recovers, since he cannot leave the hospital without having someone watch him - and she happens to be the only one who knows him in the area.

Snowed in, old feelings start to resurface, so do some of the problems that their marriage has had in the past. But Luke isn't the only one who want's Bri in his life as she has a creepy stalker, who won't let them have it any other way.

Eh, for some reason I thought this book was mostly going to be about the winter storm and being snowed in and all that romantic and creepy factor that comes with it. It didn't. That did not happen till almost about 80% of the book? and lasted for a few pages. I was a bit disappointed, but oh well. Most of the story consisted of Bri helping Luke and unable to fight the attraction that is obviously still there, and talking...lots of talking and mulling over their past and where did they go wrong and Bri suddenly having problem surface having to do with her past and her family making her faulty...

The stalker chapters were creepy and I probably could have done without them. It was a little odd it took Bri so long to realize the guy was that freakin weird, but Bri is a nice person who can't see past the niceness of his work.

Was still an easy read, cute enough for me to give it 2 1/2 stars.

  4. If you're widely curious, type the word "connard" (with 2 "n") and the words French translation in Google, you'll find out why I was rolling on the floor laughing, thinking there might be a whole county of them ;)
